Terms & Conditions

Last Updated: May 15, 2026

1. Welcome to Spathia™

The name Spathia is derived from the Greek words spatios (meaning space or location) and atha (meaning state or condition). By using this platform, you agree to these terms as we work together to bring order to your home.

2. Household Safety & Disclaimer

Spathia is an organizational tool, not a food safety authority. While we help you track your inventory, you are solely responsible for verifying the safety, quality, and expiration dates of any items (food or otherwise) managed in the app. Spathia is not liable for illness or injury resulting from the use of the platform.

3. Account & Household Security

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and your Quick PIN. Because Spathia features Live Household Sync, any person you invite to your household will have access to your data. Spathia is not liable for data changes or losses caused by authorized household members.

4. Intellectual Property

The Spathia name, logo, "Organized Storage, Effortless Living" tagline, and proprietary "Smart Cookbook" logic are the intellectual property of Spathia and Daniel Hill. You may not reproduce or scrape our code or branding for commercial use.

5. Third-Party Links

Our "Quick-Shop" features link to external grocery and shopping applications. We are not responsible for the transactions, accuracy, or privacy practices of these third-party services.

6. Account Termination

We want Spathia to be a safe, reliable tool for everyone. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate any account at our sole discretion, without notice or liability, if we determine that a user is abusing the platform, attempting to breach our security, or violating these terms.

7. Modifications to Terms

As Spathia grows and evolves, we may need to update these terms. We reserve the right to modify this agreement at any time. By continuing to use the platform after changes are posted, you accept the new terms.

8. Governing Law

These terms and your use of Spathia are governed by the laws of the State of Tennessee, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any legal action or dispute must be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Tennessee.
